Cozumel is a very pleasant place to be weather-wise almost year-round. The weather conditions are fairly constant throughout the year. It’s, as you would normally expect from an island in the Caribbean, a place of warm weather and high humidity that’s absolutely worth visiting.

The only thing really that you have to be aware of weather-wise when visiting Cozumel are hurricanes (that normally aren’t a factor in Cozumel), so it’s a good idea to check for this eventuality before going there.

Also, it’s a good idea to protect yourself from this kind of weather with:

  • Sunscreen (preferably biodegradable)
  • Bug repellent.
  • A sun hat or at least a baseball cap.
  • Drinking lots of bottled water (tap water, although chlorinated, is no good in Cozumel) to prevent dehydration.
  • Wearing comfortable clothes and shoes.
  • Sunglasses.
